DA recognizes CSLEA Member Richard Johnson from the California Department of Justice for his “invaluable investigative work”
STOCKTON – On October 28, 2024, Christopher Lee Holland, 57, was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole for the murders of James and Mary Reiswig in 2020. A jury previously found Holland guilty on multiple counts, including two first-degree murder charges with special circumstances for multiple murders, robbery, and burglary.
The District Attorney’s Office expressed its deepest gratitude to Deputy District Attorney Elton Grau, Paralegal Michelle Vargas, and Victim Witness Advocate Jessica Vanover for their steadfast dedication to this case.
The District Attorney’s Office also extended special recognition to Detective Antonio Cortez of the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office and several people at the California Department of Justice including Latent Print Analyst Richard Johnson for their invaluable investigative work, noting their combined efforts were essential in bringing justice to the Reiswig family.
