NORCO – Congratulations to California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and Association of California Wildlife Officers members Aramais Bagmanian and Ryan Galapir for competing and placing in the 27th Annual Riverside County Sheriff’s K-9 Trials on November 8, 2024.
California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Officer Bagmanian and K-9 Kal, a four-year-old Belgian Malinois, earned first place in protection. CDFW Officer Ryan Galapir and K-9 Kimbo, a five-year-old German Shepherd, earned fourth place in the same category.
Four CDFW K-9 teams competed in the Riverside County Sheriff’s K-9 Trials for the first time in department history. CSLEA and ACWO member, Wildlife Officer Laura Decker and K-9 Maverick, a three-year-old German Shepherd, also competed.
“We are proud of our CSLEA and ACWO members for their dedication to public safety and working with their K-9 partners to protect us from harm. These law enforcement officers also work to protect our fish and wildlife, and assist local law enforcement officers when needed. We thank them for their law enforcement and publics safety service,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona.
