RIVERSIDE – There is much excitement among the California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) agents who competed on the ABC Pistol Team in the 2025 United States Police & Fire Championships June 1, 2025 at the Riverside County Sheriff’s Ben Clark Training Center.
The team sent 14 shooters to compete in various Police Pistol Combat events and they collectively won 38 medals!!! Every member of the team came home with at least one medal!
“The ABC Pistol Team Hit the Bullseye at the 2025 United States Police & Fire Championships! They came into this competition with determination, precision, and an ample supply of coffee and snacks provided by our association, California Alcoholic Beverage Control Agents (CABCA),” said CABCA President Bryant Pender. “What happened next will go down in history—or at least in the team’s group chat for years to come. ABC’s 14 sharpshooters showcased their exceptional skills, winning a jaw-dropping 38 medals! That’s right—every single member of the team took home at least one medal. Statistically speaking, Team ABC is now officially more decorated than a Christmas tree in December. Rumors are circulating that local trophy shops may be facing a shortage due to the team’s medal haul. One thing’s for sure: if 2025 was this impressive, we can’t wait to see what kind of sharpshooting shenanigans they pull off next year. Well done team ABC.”
