FOLSOM – On June 26, 2025, representatives from the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and the Association of Motor Carrier Operation Specialists (AMCOS) met with approximately 25 CHP motor carrier specialists and part of a union outreach.

Representing CSLEA was Senior Counsel Ryan Navarre, and Membership Services Representatives Marco Castro and Victor Tovar.  Representing AMCOS were Vice President Kevin Weaver and Northern Site Representative Frank Hall.

“This was a perfect opportunity to meet with the motor carrier specialists as the outreach took place following CSLEA’s side letter with the State,” said Castro.  “This gave our CSLEA attorney, Ryan Navarre, the opportunity to explain the details of that side letter and how it applies to paychecks, among other things.  Ryan also talked about the current vacancy rate among motor carrier positions.  We thank each of those in attendance for their time, attention and questions.”
