OXNARD – To support public safety and quality of life in Oxnard, on October 10, 2025, the Oxnard Police Department and California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control conducted an enforcement operation focused on alcohol-related crimes near establishments that sell alcohol. These types of enforcement operations are designed to create awareness about alcohol-related crimes throughout California and keep communities safe.
During the operation, the law enforcement officers arrested six individuals who were involved in various public offenses around areas where families and minors frequent. Four subjects were also cited for drinking alcohol in public.
“We all want to feel safe in our neighborhoods and where we shop and dine,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona. “These types of enforcement operations target illegal activity that impact our quality of life and public safety. We thank California ABC agents and their local law enforcement partners for working to keep us safe.”
