YOUNTVILLE – On November 18, 2025, firefighter/security officers at the Yountville Veterans Home attended a Public Safety 22 First Aid class which they are required to take every other year. The training addresses first responder medical skills like CPR, triage, and advanced techniques for managing severe bleeding.
“It is vital to public safety, and the residents, employees and visitors at Yountville, that we stay on top of our life-saving skills and training,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Member and Yountville Firefighter/Security Officer Thomas Becerra. “We are proud of the public safety service we provide and must be at-the-ready for all types of emergencies.”
Training was provided by American Medical Response personnel.
