MANTECA – On November 22, 2025, California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) agents and Manteca Police Department officers and cadets, conducted a Minor Decoy Operation throughout the city. The operation was conducted at 14 stores.
During the operation, none of the 14 clerks tested allowed the sale of alcohol to the underage decoy. Each clerk checked identification and refused the sale.
The goal of these types of operations is to stop underage people from having access to, or being furnished with alcoholic beverages.
“Great job, clerks!” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona. “Thank you to ABC and Manteca PD for working to keep our communities and roadways safe.”
