WEST SACRAMENTO – On December 8, 2025, California Highway Patrol Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) Vice President Victor Tovar and California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Counsel Andrea Perez met with nine CHP dispatchers training at the CHP Academy in West Sacramento.
“CHP dispatchers are a tremendous group of first responders who contribute greatly to public safety in our state,” said Perez. “I enjoy the opportunity to introduce myself and VP Tovar, so these public safety professionals know their union representatives and learn how the union benefits its members.”
Perez and Tovar introduced the new dispatchers to the benefits and services of CSLEA and CHP-PSDA. CSLEA and CHP-PSDA welcomed seven of the dispatchers to union membership and wish all the dispatchers well as they complete their training. The dispatchers will be working in Communication Centers in Sacramento, Susanville, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Redding.
