RIVERSIDE – On March 17, 2026, CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association Southern Division Representative David Arriola conducted a new employee orientation for CHP dispatchers training at the Ben Clark Training Center in Riverside.  This was an opportunity for Arriola to extend an invitation to the dispatchers for union membership and answer any questions.

“Thank you to David for speaking with our newest members and underlining the importance of union membership and the protection, services and benefits membership provides,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona.  “The dispatchers are embarking upon a very important first responder job and we thank them for their interest in public safety.”

The dispatchers are assigned to CHP communication centers in Indio, Los Angeles, Bishop, and Orange County.
