LOS ANGELES COUNTY – On May 15, 2026, California Association of Criminal Investigators (CACI) Secretary James Potts conducted a presentation at Mt. San Antonio College for Adults with Disabilities.  The purpose of the presentation was to provide students with information about “Interacting with Emergency Personnel”, the importance of safe and effective communication with law enforcement, whether it be a routine encounter in the community or during a high stress emergency situation and what to expect during a law enforcement contact. The goal was to build comfort, trust and understanding between persons with disabilities and law enforcement.

“It was an honor and a privilege to speak with the students.  They are a terrific group and I hope I was able to assist them with the information I provided,” said Potts.  “I wish them all well in their endeavors and thank them for inviting me.”
