Thanks to the generous tax deductible donations made to the CSLEA Foundation, each year the Foundation awards scholarships to CSLEA members, members’ spouses and children, to help with the cost of higher education. While a career goal in public safety or consumer protection is encouraged, it is not a requirement to receive a scholarship.
The CSLEA Foundation Scholarship Review Committee receives dozens of applications each year and traditionally awards eight $1,000 scholarships.
Scholarship application packets are typically available in February and due in May, with scholarship recipients announced in August or September.
