As a supervisor or manager who supervises Unit 7 employees, you may continue to be a member of CSLEA. Please note that newly promoted supervisors and managers are not automatically dropped as CSLEA members. Many supervisors and managers choose to retain their CSLEA membership because of the valuable benefits and support from their union. Below is a chart of benefits for supervisory members.
Although CSLEA can no longer negotiate a labor agreement for your state supervisory classification, we believe CSLEA has much to offer State exempt employees, however, if you choose to cancel your membership, you must provide written notification to CSLEA.
