LOS ANGELES – Special agents with the California Department of Justice arrested a Riverside County man November 8, 2013 after they seized more than 200 firearms, a machine gun, a plastic explosive and more from his home.
Victor Christian Robles, 30, is suspected of dealing illegal weapons and was booked on numerous charges including possession of a destructive device and sale of an assault weapon.
Special agents with the Department of Justice’s Bureau of Firearms raided Robles’ home November 7 and seized more than 200 firearms including a machine gun, a fully automatic submachine gun, more than 100 handguns and 60 rifles They also seized a C-4 plastic explosive and a rocket launcher tube .
“No one can be sure of this suspect’s intentions, but selling weapons illegally can only mean one thing, these weapons are likely getting into the wrong hands,” said Alan Barcelona, president of the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA). Special Agents are members of CSLEA, along with nearly 7,000 other law enforcement, public safety and consumer protection professionals who work for the State of California. “I am grateful no one was hurt in this investigation and raid.”
Robles had no criminal record prior to his arrest and posted $150,000 bail.
