PALM DESERT- New to the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and the CSLEA affiliate California Alcoholic Beverage Control Agents (CABCA) as a member, is California Alcoholic Beverage Control Licensing Representative Graciela Green.
“Graciela came over from the Indio CHP where she worked as a front office person in Palm Desert. To get ahead she went to night classes at the local college to get her degree so she would be able to promote,” said CSLEA Field Representative Shelley Bishop. Bishop is a retired ABC Agent who began her law enforcement career as a CHP officer in 1984 and worked with Green at Indo CHP for years. “I was in the office when Graciela was going to college classes and I can say she worked hard to promote and get ahead.”
Licensing Representatives look into and process applications for licenses to sell alcoholic beverages. They look into the person applying for the license and the establishment where alcoholic beverages would be sold.
“We extend a very warm welcome to Licensing Representative Graciela Green and wish her the very best in her new career,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “Also, thank you to CSLEA Field Rep Shelley Bishop for stopping by to greet Green and to walk her through the many benefits and services that CSLEA has to offer.”
