MILPITAS – On November 28, 2017, the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) conducted an outreach event for California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) investigators in Milpitas.

“I’m happy that our membership department was able to sit with our peace officer members in Milpitas and check in with them,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona.  “It’s important that we reach out to proactively see where our members need some assistance.”

DMV Investigators conduct a broad range of investigations including identity theft, auto theft, and complex fraud investigations of car dealers, dismantlers, registration services and driving schools.  DMV investigators also investigate digital odometer tampering (rollbacks) and the illegal use of Disabled Persons Parking Placards.

CSLEA would like to thank all DMV investigators for their law enforcement work and their commitment to protecting the safety and security of  Californians.
