ABC Agents Post Notice of Suspension at Hanford Mini-Mart Store Sold Alcohol to Minors

HANFORD – On July 19, 2018, California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) agents posted a Notice of Suspension at the King Gas & Deli Mart located on West Lacy Boulevard in Hanford. The license is suspended for 25 days following a s violation for sales of alcohol to minors.  Previous violations occurred in 2004, 2010 and 2017, all of which involved the store selling alcohol to minors.

“ABC agents have their work cut out for them, given the vast number of businesses that sell alcohol in California,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona.  “They work tirelessly to enforce ABC laws and to keep alcoholic beverages from being sold or given to those under 21.  That effort in itself is a huge contribution to public and roadway safety.”
