FRESNO – On August 9, 2018, California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) agents placed a 30-day Notice of Suspension at the Fat Boys Taqueria on West Bullard Avenue. The notice prohibits the business from selling alcoholic beverages for 30 days.
The suspension is the result of an investigation that discovered sales, service and consumption of alcohol after 2:00 a.m., gambling, sale of alcohol to an obviously intoxicated person and entertainment violations relating to noise and loitering. ABC agents and Fresno police officers visited the location numerous times during the investigation.
“Licensees who don’t adhere to ABC rules and regulations often are the source of complaints by members of the community,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona. “No one wants to live or work near a business that doesn’t appear to respect the neighborhood or the law.”
