ABC Agents Post Notice of Suspension at Palmdale Restaurant

PALMDALE -On February 21, 2019, California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) agents posted a 25-day Notice of Suspension at Restaurant El Carbonero in Palmdale.   El Carbonero is licensed to sell beer and wine, but during an investigation, was found to be selling distilled spirits without the proper license and refilling bottles of distilled spirits. Due to the violation, alcohol sales are prohibited at the location for 25 days.

“Licensees who don’t abide by ABC regulations can lose the privilege of selling and serving alcohol at their establishments,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona.  “ABC agents enforce regulations as they pertain to the sale and service of alcohol to protect the public.”

According to ABC, the licensees agreed to a 25-day suspension after ABC filed an accusation against the premises.
