CYPRESS – On November 19, 2019, California Alcoholic Beverage Control agents from the Santa Ana District Office posted a 30-day Notice of Suspension at Jeanie’s Dirty Martinis Bar located on Lincoln Avenue in the city of Cypress.
Agents from the Alcohol Policing Partnership (APP) Program Unit, the ABC Trade Enforcement Unit (TEU) and officers from the Cypress Police Department were undercover at the location and purchased Psilocybin, a controlled substance, from the on-duty bartender on four separate occasions.
“Thank you to the ABC agents and local law enforcement officers who work together to identify the liquor-selling establishments where laws are being broken,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona. “Those establishments where laws are being broken, can attract clientele that is not conducive to neighborhoods and nearby businesses.”
