ABC Agents Posts Notice of Revocation at Liquor Store in Bellflower Store sold alcohol to underage customers, was in possession of slot machines and received purportedly stolen property

BELLFLOWER – On November 25, 2019, California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) agents posted a revocation notice at Cheap Corner Liquor, located on Bellflower Boulevard, in the City of Bellflower.  Effective immediately, the business is prohibited from selling alcoholic beverages.

Undercover ABC agents visited the location numerous times during an investigation and discovered three separates sales of alcoholic beverages to minors, and violations involving the possession of illegal gambling machines and receiving purportedly stolen property.

“These are all serious violations that not only led to the revocation of this business’ ABC license, but often these types of violations put community members at risk,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona.  “Thank you to the ABC agents who investigated this licensee and put an end to this alleged illegal activity.”
