On September 12, 2023, Association of Special Agents-Depart of Justice (ASA-DOJ) President Ben Greenhagen, Vice President Carlos Moreno and Director Jeff Sartoph joined California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Counsel Jim Vitko to conduct a membership outreach lunch for California DOJ special agents at the San Diego DLE regional office. The purpose of the lunch meeting was to discuss CSLEA membership benefits, answer questions, address concerns, speak about the newly ratified contract and talk to special agents who are not CSLEA members about the much-needed protections CSLEA offers.
Greenhagen and Vitko then met with DOJ DMFEA special agents at the Orange County regional office on September 13, 2023 to conduct the same outreach during a lunch-time meeting.
“It was great to meet with our members and those who were considering membership. It was important to share with our special agents the safety net that CSLEA offers with its proven legal defense fund and representation. No law enforcement officer should be without access to LDF,” said Greenhagen. “I was happy to enroll multiple special agents into membership. It’s that important.”
ASA-DOJ and CSLEA thank those who attended the lunch meetings and are ready to assist when needed.
