SACRAMENTO – On October 22 and 24, 2024, representatives from the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and the Association of Special Agents-Department of Justice (ASA-DOJ) conducted new employee orientations at the California Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse (DMFEA) San Diego regional office and at DOJ’s Advanced Training Center in Sacramento. The orientation gives union representatives the opportunity to introduce themselves to new special agents and to discuss the benefits and services associated with union membership.
“It’s great to meet our newest special agents in person and to discuss who we are and what we do for our ASA-DOJ members,” said ASA-DOJ President Ben Greenhagen. “ASA-DOJ also provided lunch for the special agents and answered any questions they had.”
Joining Greenhagen in San Diego on October 22nd was ASA-DOJ Vice President Carlos Moreno, Treasurer Ryan Pontecorvo, Secretary Julio Roman, Director Jeff Sartoph, and CSLEA Senior Counsel Kja Harper-Gopaul.
In Sacramento on October 24, Greenhagen was joined by ASA-DOJ Director Court Huish and CSLEA Senior Cousel Ryan Navarre and they met with Department of Law Enforcement new hires.
CSLEA and ASA-DOJ welcome to membership those special agents who recognized the protection and value of union participation and signed up for membership during the orientation and thanks all who attended to learn more about CSLEA and ASA-DOJ.
