SACRAMENTO – On May 21, 2025, Association of Special Agents – Department of Justice (ASA-DOJ) Ben Greenhagen and California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Chief Counsel Kasey Clark conducted a New Employee Orientation (NEO) at the California Department of Justice in Sacramento. They met with 16 recently hired special agents and a reinstating manager at California DOJ Department of Law Enforcement (DLE).
Clark and Greenhagen gave an overview of the benefits of CSLEA membership including access to CSLEA’s proven Legal Defense Fund (LDF) and CSLEA Legal team, collective bargaining, political action, CLEA Long-Term Disability and PORAC health insurance. This was an opportunity for the new special agents to ask questions, meet their union representatives and sign up for union membership.
On May 12, 2025, Greenhagen also met with six new hires at the Division of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse (DMFEA).
“ASA-DOJ is proud to welcome these new special agents to the California Department of Justice,” said Greenhagen. “ASA-DOJ provided lunch as a way to welcome all of the new agents. We thank those who understand the value of union membership and signed up to become a part of the ASA-DOJ and CSLEA family. We stand ready to serve them in their careers as special agents.”
