RIVERSIDE COUNTY – On August 26, 2025, the Riverside Auto Theft Interdiction Detail (RAID) task force partnered with the
- California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) Inland and Southern Divisions,
- California DMV Investigations,
- California Department of Insurance,
- Long Beach Police Department,
- Riverside Police Department,
- Anaheim Police Department,
- San Bernardino County Auto Theft and Gang Task Forces,
- and the National Insurance Crime Bureau,
to serve 12 simultaneous search warrants at residences and businesses associated with the criminal enterprise Long Beach Performance, which spans Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and Orange Counties. As a result, RAID recovered 11 stolen vehicles, 31 firearms, and arrested six of the organization’s members.

The investigation began in December 2024. During this nine-month investigation, RAID investigators uncovered a sophisticated criminal organization and network engaged in:
- vehicle theft,
- alteration of Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs),
- fraudulent DMV documentation,
- sales of stolen vehicles,
- and trafficking of narcotics and firearms.
Investigators have identified numerous vehicles, estimated to be worth more than $1.25 million, associated with this organization.
