On November 30, 2023 at about 10:00 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies were dispatched to the 1900 block of Sutter Road in McKinleyville for the report of male subject brandishing a knife.
On November 28, 2023, at about 11:25 a.m., the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to the area of McKinleyville High School for a report of male subject, possibly armed with a holstered handgun on his waist, entering the high school campus.
On November 10, 2023, California State Parks Rangers, Mendocino Sheriff’s deputies and rescue volunteers began their search for a missing person near McKerricher State Park near Fort Bragg. The search for the missing person began after a man’s body was found washed ashore near the Ten Mile Dunes.
